Jake Ball will Miss the Final XI for England Vs Pakistan

Jake Ball, pace bowler, was one of the players in the 13-man squad excluded from the final XI. Batsman James Vince who dislocated his finger, was declared fit while the team will stick with four joint bowlers and Moeen Ali’s off-spin.

Rashid, who took 5-64 on his debut in October 2015 against Pakistan, had been initially selected to play for the fourth Test. The leg-spinner is expected to feature significantly during the winter tours to the spin-friendly conditions of India and Bangladesh.

Commenting on the unchanged squad, England captain Alastair Cook said he was happy with his five-man attack who claimed two wickets when the hosts won the third test match by 141 runs. The skipper further noted that he thinks his four-seamers are bowling well and Ali took a massive pace in the previous match.
