Leicester City and England Striker, Jamie Vardy, fears that some people will never forgive him after verbally abusing a fellow gambler in Leicester’s Grosvenor Casino. The 29-year-old apologised last summer for calling an Asian man a ‘Jap’ during an intense disagreement in a casino last year July.
However, Vardy, who admitted that he has had a few fights in the past, has denied that he’s a racist but fears that his name will now forever be degraded. City’s striker has also admitted that he once spent a night in jail, he ‘saw red’ and began screaming, but claims he had no clue that the term was racist.

According to The Sun, Vardy said the term ‘racist’ is a permanent mark against his name and that it is worse than a criminal record. The video of him racially abusing the said man is on YouTube, and when his children search his name, the video pops up with the title ‘Jamie Vardy racist.’ He further added that while some people may forgive him, acknowledging the incident as an honest mistake that he has learnt from, many may never see it the same way.
The striker, who made his England debut when they played the Republic of Ireland in June 2015, was fined by City and admitted that he thought his career was over.
