ComeOn! Casino United Kingdom Review 2017

ComeOn! Casino is the casino arm of the ComeOn! brand of gambling interests. Since its arrival onto the casino scene in 2008, ComeOn! has managed to gain for itself a pretty amazing reputation for the range of games it offers, and the fairness by which it deals with its customers.

This casino is owned and operated as something of a flagship brand by Co-Gaming Limited, a company that is based in Malta. It’s no surprise then that this casino has a licence that’s been issued to it by the Malta Gaming Authority, but the good news for CasinoUK readers is that ComeOn! Casino also has a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, meaning that UK-based online casino players are green-lit to play here!

Welcome bonus

We’ve ‘complained’ in the past about ComeOn! Casino’s titchy welcome bonus. Well, we’re pleased to announce that their bite-sized bonus is a thing of the past! The deposit bonus that’s now available at this site is a £200 welcome bonus  plus twenty free spins on Starburst!

Your free spins do not even need a deposit! When you do sign up you’ll be granted your freebie spins gratis! You must wager any winnings you make from these free spins thirty times over within seven days and the maximum you can cash out from freebies is £100.

ComeOn! Casino will also double your first deposit up to a maximum of £200. You will get a bonus as long as you make a minimum deposit of £10. All bonus cash (and your deposit) needs to be wagered thirty-five times over before you can cash out.

Note that you cannot use the sports book to meet wagering requirements for a casino bonus, only casino games. You cannot use Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard or Webmoney to make your first deposit … well, you can, but if you do so you will not receive a deposit bonus.

You can only use slots to meet wagering requirements. All forms of roulette and card games count zero towards your wagering, as do the slots Bloodsuckers, Bob’s Quest, EggoMatic, Robin Hood: Shifting Riches and Forsaken Kingdom. You have thirty days from the award of your bonus to meet your wagering expectations.

Range of games

ComeOn! Casino is something of a rarity as it actually list the number of games in each section so you can easily see the choices that are on other. We’re guessing that these figures change on a frequent basis, but when we checked the ‘scores on the doors’ were as follows:

  • Video slots – 404
  • Black Jack (sic) – 8
  • Roulette – 13
  • Table Games – 9
  • Slot Machines – 23
  • Video Poker – 12
  • Jackpots – 12
  • Soft Games – 21
  • Live Casino – 11

The sections are a little confusing – for example hit the ‘soft games’ button and you just get some slots including well known slots such as Jack & the Beanstalk and Go Bananas! The same applies for ‘slot machines’ which you would expect would contain three-reel style slots, but it just contains a random selection of video slots including Twin Spin and Piggy Riches.

What’s not so confusing is the selection of live casino games that are on offer here. These include roulette, blackjack, casino hold’em, three-card poker and casino hold’em, plus ‘Dream Catcher‘ which is a live ‘wheel of fortune’ style game.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Plenty of great games from numerous brilliant software providers
  • Acquire loyalty points for depositing, logging in and playing casino games
  • Fast withdrawals, especially for eWallets
  • Extensive FAQs section

Cons

  • Low deposit bonus – only £25!
  • Live support is not 24/7

Layout and usability

The ComeOn! Casino layout is sort of a halfway house between a traditional casino layout and a more adventurous one. The traditional sense is that they have gone for a black background. The main ‘highlight colour of choice’ is green though as opposed to the more typical red. We’re guessing this is because when first establised ComeOn! chose green as their branding colour.

This online casino site is something of a ‘much of a muchness’ in that it’s fairly typical in the way that it has been pieced together. One thing we did like is the ability players have to filter games in or out by the seven software providers that are available at this site.

Promotions for existing customers

There are always, it seems, bonuses and promotions available for existing ComeOn! Casino customers. For example every Friday ComeOn! will reveal a secret bonus code via their Facebook and Twitter pages. If you are one of the first fifty customers to claim this bonus code at the site then you will be awarded a certain number of free spins.

You can also earn yourself extra bonuses via the site’s VIP/loyalty scheme too (see below). These include free spins, free money bonuses and reload deposit bonuses.

VIP/loyalty scheme

Practically everything you do at the ComeOn! Casino will earn you loyalty points – for example you can earn twenty-five points simply by logging in, and another five hundred points by verifying your mobile number. You also gain points whenever you make a deposit e.g. a £10 deposit will earn you fifty loyalty points.

The main way though of acquiring points is by playing real money games at the casino (or by making real money wagers at the sports book – see below for details about ComeOn! Casino’s sports book). For every £1 you stake on any kind of casino game, you receive eight points (two point four points for blackjack, roulette, table games and video poker).

Of course you’re probably now wondering what you should do with all these points once you’ve accrued them. The answer is you can spend them at the ComeOn! Casino Shop. Bonuses and reloads are available here, as are free spins. The amount of free spins you can buy depends upon the game you are spending them on. For example for NetEnt’s Starburst if you splash out 100,000 ComeOn! Points it will earn you fifty free spins. For Scruffy Duck you can early ten free spins if you’re willing to spend 20,000 ComeOn! Points.

Special features

That full list of software suppliers available at ComeOn! Casino is as follows: NetEnt, Microgaming, Playtech, Play’n GO, Evolution Gaming, Yggdrasil Gaming and WMS.

The site does have a very extensive list of FAQs, so you should be able to find the answer to most common issues there and then. If you have a more exact query then there are still several ways in which you can receive a little help. There’s always email of course if your query is not too urgent in nature, but for instant advice you can use the live help that is available. Sadly live chat is only available from 9am until 10pm on weekdays.

Other betting options

Seasoned gambling fans will not be surprised to hear that ComeOn! Casino has a sports book attached. Indeed, the ComeOn! brand began life as an amazing sports book before it added the casino options.

There are plenty of betting opportunities at the ComeOn! sports book, and all the major and most minor sports betting markets are covered. Special consideration is given (as you might expect) to football, horse racing and tennis, but should be able to bet on any sporting event you can think of at this encyclodaedic sports betting site.

There’s a special deal for new sports bettors at this site – a £10 free bet if you are willing to make a bet of at least ten pounds of your own on an event with minimum odds of 1.80 (4/5). You will then receive a £10 free bet that you can use on any event. You must use your free bet within fourteen days of you being awarded it, and if your bet is a winner you will only receive your winnings, not the free bet money back itself.

This is far as ComeOn! goes as far as other betting options are concerned. There is no poker room here, or an online bingo hall … yet!

Conclusion

Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way first – that low, low deposit bonus (we understand that it is ‘free money’ but £25 is still too low a maximum amount; most other online casinos offer at least £100 and some much, much more!). We’d also prefer it if live support was available 24/7, which is something that most other online casinos seem to manage to achieve.

As for the good stuff – the range of games is simply electric here, and there’s more than enough in each possible category to keep any casino player happy. We especially like the rewards system which gives you points for even the most mundane things, such as logging in!

We’re therefore, on balance, going to award this online casino four stars out of a possible five. We hope this will give you enough reason to ComeOn! down and give the ComeOn! Casino a try!
