Step 3: Know The Online Poker Hands You Can Win On

When playing Online Poker, it is important to know which hands you can win on. Below is an explanation of the different hands found in Poker.

  • Pair: This is when a player has two cards that are the same for example two 2’s or two Ace’s.
  • One Pair: This is when a player has 2 cards that are the same and 3 unrelated cards.
  • Two Pair: This is when a player has a pair of cards, for example, a pair of 2’s or 7’s.
  • Three of a Kind: This when a player has three cards which are on an equivalent level and 2 unrelated cards.
  • Four of a kind: This is when a player has 4 of the same cards, an example of this would be having four Aces or four 3’s.
  • Straight: This is when a player’s cards are in order, for example, 3, 4,5,6,7. An ace can be played high or low.
  • Flush: This is when a player’s cards are all the same suit, for example, all hearts or all spades.
  • Full House: This is when a player has two cards which are not the same but have matching positions and 3 cards which are equal.
  • Straight Flush: This is a combination of a straight and a flush, for example, 2,3,4,5,6 all of the same suit, let’s say for instance all these cards are spades.
  • Royal Flush: This is when a player has all 10 value cards which follow suit, an example of this would be an Ace, King, Queen, Jack and a 10 value card, which are all hearts.
